CONDITIONS OF SALE OF PRODUCTS / SERVICES FOR NON-DIVERS

Course gift vouchers expire 1 year after purchase and, once expired, they can no longer be used.

Christening and outing gift vouchers expire one year after purchase and, once expired, they can no longer be used.

All gift vouchers will be refundable up to 1 month after purchase. Gift vouchers are transferable between people.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR DIVING INITIATION COURSE (OPEN WATER / SCUBA DIVER) OR DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

  • The people who do the activity must always bring a valid identification document.
  • The diver must bring a swimsuit, towel and flip-flops. In the case of pool discover scuba, it is necessary to also bring a pool cap.
  • Diving requires a normal physical condition. A Statement of Fitness must be signed prior to the activity. Some specific illnesses or problems require a medical certificate authorizing diving and some other illnesses do not allow it to be carried out (Any questions you have about a specific illness or problem must be consulted with a doctor).
  • The diver cannot arrive while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, if so, he will lose the deposit.
  • For people 65 years (or older) or older than 60 years (weighing between 90 and 110kg) we need a medical certificate that expressly authorizes it.
  • For minors, the authorization of a parent or guardian is required. Once here, the guardians must form the registration form and present their identification and that of the minor. The minimum age to carry out an activity is 12 years old.
  • Not having a flight scheduled in the next 18 hours after the activity.

THE DAY OF THE DIVE

The reserved time is the arrival time at our facilities and the duration of the activity will depend on the course / baptism purchased.

FOR GROUP RESERVATIONS
If there are several courses / baptisms reserved for the same name, they will be grouped according to activity and internal organization, ensuring only that each person will be accompanied by at least one other person from the same group.

 

RETURN AND RESERVATION POLICY

The discover scuba diving deposit is refundable or the reservation is rescheduled only in the following cases:  

  • If the reservation is canceled / rescheduled before the deadline that allows changes:
    • Deadlines limits :
      • From 1 to 5 people: 1 week before the reserved day.
      • paritr of 6 people: 2 weeks before the reserved day.
  • In the event that the activity cannot be carried out due to bad weather conditions or for technical reasons, Medusadive reserves the right to delay the activity.

In any other case, no date change is allowed and the deposit made is forfeited.

This deposit will also be forfeited in the event of arrival later than the reserved time.

The deposit for diving courses is refundable or the reservation is reprogrammable only in the following cases:  

  • If the PADI online theory has not been activated, that is, the theory code assigned by Medusadive has not been registered.
  • If the reservation is canceled / rescheduled before the deadline that allows changes:
    • Deadlines limits :
      • From 1 to 5 people: 1 week before the reserved day.
      • From 6 people: 2 weeks before the reserved day.
  • In the event that the activity cannot be carried out due to bad weather conditions or for technical reasons, Medusadive reserves the right to delay the activity.

RATES CHANGE

If once a reservation has been made, the rates change, the following cases must be taken into account:

If the full amount of the activity has been paid for less than a year, nothing more will need to be paid. But, if it was more than a year ago it will be necessary to update the price to the current rates. If it is a voucher / gift, these have their own specific conditions.
If previously only part of the amount of the activity has been paid, when the payment is completed, the current price will be applied at that time
