With this course you will obtain the knowledge and qualification necessary to teach PADI diving courses from the open water course up until divemaster course.
In this course you’ll learn:
* Theoretical instruction: how to teach theory
* Teaching standards.
* Instruction in confined and open waters. Knowledge of all the exercises.
* Marketing and sales techniques.
* Group management.
Previous IDC requirements
1. 18 years old
2. 100 logged dives; documented experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation
3. Certified diver for at least six months.
4. Medical certification accrediting the fitness for diving signed by a medical doctor within the last 12 months.
5. Completion of the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course (or equivalent training) within the last 24 months.
6. A PADI Assistant Instructor or accredited current instructor member (with the possibility of renewing *) with another recreational diving training organization for a minimum of six months.
IE Requirements (Instructor Examination)
Obtaining a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification requires that you successfully complete a PADI Instructor Examination (IE) led by a PADI Instructor Examiner.
1. 100 logged dives.
2. Successfully complete the Instructor Development Course (IDC) or the Open Water Scuba Instructor Program within the last 12 months.
