Emergency First Response (EFR)
To go beyond oneself!
This is a basic course in emergency care. This course gives you the confidence and knowledge to respond to medical emergencies, not only in the world of diving, but also in everyday life with your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
The course consists of 2 sections:
- Primary care (CPR): You will learn how to deal with most life-threatening situations while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
- Secondary Care (First Aid): It deals with the secondary assessment of the patient and first aid.
After completing the Primary Care course, you will be able to: provide care to a person in immediate danger of death, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and respond to severe bleeding and spinal cord injuries. After completing the Secondary Care course, you will be able to: assess injuries, apply bandages, and set dislocations and fractures.

FAQ
What diving organizations are there? Which one should I choose?
Do I need to buy equipment?
Not necessarily. When you start diving, ideally you should first learn about the different types of equipment available and then assess which pieces of equipment are most essential for you, gradually building your own gear.
Where can I take courses?
There are 2 options: in your city or at your vacation spot.
Our recommendation is that you consider that the diving course isn't the end of the story: upon completion, you'll have a level of trust in your instructor regarding scuba diving that you won't find with anyone else, and you'll appreciate having them as a neighbor for advice, diving trips, or continued training. This way, the chances of receiving the course properly are much greater than when you're just another tourist. Plus, you'll be able to make the most of your vacation days by diving.
Is insurance required? Is it a dangerous sport?
Although diving is a very safe sport, insurance is necessary. Having insurance demonstrates the importance placed on safety in this sport, and its low cost shows that it is the safest adventure sport.
In the case of introductory dives and courses, diving insurance is included during the course.
And what happens after the course?
The course is just the gateway to a whole new world that awaits you. You'll have the opportunity to join group dives with us, where you'll enjoy some of the best dives and have the chance to make friends with other divers like yourself.
You'll also have the opportunity to continue your training with some of the most spectacular specialties, such as night diving or wreck diving. In addition to all this, your PADI certification will open doors to fantastic diving destinations around the world.
